The data were collected from June 20, 1988 to August 8, 1998.
The collected data were analyzed by using frequency, one way ANOVA, t-test, Pearson¢¥s correlation & stepwise multiple regression.
The results of this study are as follows
1. The necessity rate of the medical rounding and health education was necessary (66.5 % somewhat necessary (31.2%), most of then demand the medical rounding and health education with regard to helpfulness, it showed that . solving the physical health problem is some what helpful(36.4%), Very helpful(40.2%), not helpful(2.6%) and solving the mental health problem is mostly helpful(85.7%).
The medical requirements for medical rounding were the systemic and faithful medical service(32%), providing the various sufficient medical supplies (20.7%), the regular medical service(10.9 % ), and the doctors¢¥ medical examination and treatment(10.2 %) of the various Medical dept.
2. The result of significance about the medical rounding and health education was not statisti-
cally significant difference between medical rounding and necessity of health education, solving the physical health problem, and solving the medical health problem.
3. The effects of the medical rounding and health education on the health promotion showed¢¥ mostly helpful about 8 clauses (treatment & recovery, relieving pain, stress management, happy military life, mental satisfactory rate, raising morale, health information, disease prevention), the most helpful clause is the treatment & recovery(83%).

There was statistical correlation between factors of health promotion & health status that is, treatment/recovery factors correlated with health status at the level of p?.05 pain & health status was significant correlation at the level of p?.001 relieving stress management & health status was p<.001.
5. The correlation between health status and medical rounding was statiscally significant. That is health status and medical rounding (p <.001), past health status and medical rounding(p?.05), stress extent and medical rounding(p<.0001) correlated with statiscally significant interrelation.
